A message from the Payroll Manager:
National Payroll Week serves as a static point in the year to stop and to reflect on what we have achieved and how we have grown; the challenges we have overcome and the successes we achieved. I am now approaching my 10th year here at Solo and have seen my team grow in strength and numbers from 1 – 10. Nothing stays the same at Solo and nothing stays the same in payroll.
The past year has been one of particular growth for Solo and in turn the Payroll Team has expanded to meet the growing needs of the Company. We have had to adapt quickly to be able accommodate and manage the new pressures this has brought us during the past year.
We are now a Team of 10 all processing payroll day in day out to ensure our clients and employees all receive an accurate and high-quality payroll service.
Payroll can be relentless at times; prioritising work and working under pressure is a necessary skill. Legislation often changes and we always need to be aware of this and keep updated. We need to adapt and move forwards constantly.
We pride ourselves on being a visible and approachable team. We may take any number of queries on a day-to-day basis; payroll, tax, pensions, HR, employment law, holiday entitlement, wage queries, redundancy, notice payments and much more. We provide a supportive service to our clients and employees and if we can’t help we will direct you to someone who can.
