We are looking for a positive, caring and reliable person to be a Team Leader for our great team of staff supporting a 64-year-old woman with complex health needs. You will support her to continue living her life independently within her own home and to enjoy the freedom of her own daily wants and needs. She enjoys sitting in her garden on sunny days and loves shopping online, so it is essential that you are computer literate to support her with this.

The successful candidate will consider themselves to have leadership qualities, as well as being flexible and having a ‘can do’ attitude towards all aspects of care with the ability to delegate tasks where necessary. You will need to use your initiative and insight to lead the team effectively. You will complete your team leader duties alongside your Personal Assistant role, which will involve supporting with day-to-day living, including all aspects of personal care, clinical tasks, mental and emotional wellbeing, and accessing the community. You must also be able to develop a high level of professionalism, ensuring to promote dignity, privacy, independence at all times, whilst also respecting the home environment. 

The position involves 8 hours per week of team leader duties, alongside your hours as a Personal Assistant. The hourly rate of pay is £13.50 per hour for team leader duties (8 hours per week). You will also be required to cover additional shifts on an ad-hoc basis, in order to cover for holidays and sickness.

An excellent training package is available to ensure you are trained to the highest standards. Working as part of the Solo Support Services organisation will also give you access to a supportive company who promote person centred practice.
