ABOUT THE ROLE
I am looking for a Personal Assistants to joint my existing team to support me within my own home as well as out in the community. I am a charming, outgoing, active young gentleman living in my fully adapted flat with my carers, but I also spend time at home with my parents over the weekends. I have Cerebral Palsy and require 24-hour care, I need support with all tasks of daily live in, such as personal care, food preparation, transfers via a hoist, social and emotional support.
I would like a carer who would fit in my existing care team and who will support me to lead independent and fulfilling life. I enjoy, listening to music, bingo and going to meet my friends.
ABOUT YOU
I am looking for individuals with a caring, patient nature to join my team and get to know me, understanding my needs. You need to be honest, calm and have a good sense of humor and a zest for life. Being a good English speaker is an essential skill for this post and although training and previous experience will be an advantage it is not essential, as full training will be given.
HOURS Friday 2pm until Saturday 2pm – this included 8 hour sleeping night.
