I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join my team, providing essential support in a warm and friendly environment. If you have a passion for helping others and want to make a real difference in people’s lives, this role could be perfect for you!

I am a 51 year old female living in the Newark area who enjoys shopping trips and walking my dog. I go to the gym twice a week, as I am a member there and I like travelling around the UK to events (especially those events hosted by deaf and/or ushers and meeting new friends)! I am a bubbly, energetic and friendly person that wants to see as much of the UK as I possibly can.

I don’t like spending my days home alone as, I like to be very active! I also don’t like going outside on my own especially when there is a heavy crowd, as that could become difficult for me to navigate. 

Requirements: 

Fluent in BSL (British Sign Language).

Previous experience as a Care Assistant is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.

A caring and patient nature with excellent communication skills. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work the specified hours. A valid UK driver’s license. 

Weekly hours: 10 

Hourly rate: £13 

Shift Pattern: 2 x weekday shifts (5/6 hours per shift), 1 weekend shift per month (8 hour shift)
