I live in Liverpool, I enjoy arts & crafts and cooking, I am looking to build an enthusiastic, reliable and friendly female staff team to support me throughout the day and/ or night, my husband plays a big role in supporting me with my everyday needs too. I require support to promote my independence, and with my health -from committed individuals. I have a high-level Spinal Injury and I use a manual wheelchair to get around. You’d be part of a dedicated team to provide me with all me care needs in my own home and when I wish to go out.

The successful candidates: to have experience in health and social care, and will be required to provide support during the day and/or night, week days and weekends, around a workable rota. The role will involve all aspects of personal care, moving and handling, nutrition, social and domestic duties. Experience in Spinal cord injury would be preferable but full training will be provided. You will take direction and be supported by myself and my Team Leader.

Further Information:

Essential: Experience in Health and Social Care. Female candidates only: due to the nature of the role (Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9").

Preferred: Experience in spinal cord injuries. Driver/ Walker is acceptable too/ Non-Smoker

Salary: £10.00 per hour day shifts, £10.50 per hour waking night shifts. Training: An excellent training package is available to ensure you are trained to the highest standards. Working as part of the Solo Support Services organisation will also give you access to a supportive company who promote person centered practice.

Shift Patterns: Part Time/ Full Time Contracted Hours Available: to be discussed at interview

- 20:00 pm – 07:30am (waking nights) Also cover for holidays and sickness as required.
