I am a young man living with my home . I would like to recruit a support worker for 20 hours per week to support me to do social activities in the community.

I have Autism and need support in maintaining a good quality of life and support me with my routines. My structure and routines are a big part of my life and important to me.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, have a good sense of humour and a genuine caring nature. Experience in mental health and Autism is desired or a willingness to learn. The role will also involve taking me swimming.

Full training is provided, specific to my care needs. There is also an option of funding for staff to complete health and social care level 2 or 3 qualifications.

The role is will be paid at £11.00 per hour and sleeping nights paid at £10.42 per hour. The role will involve sleeping nights and occasional weekend work.

Shifts 07:00am – 17:00pm but overtime as and when needed.

Full training will be provided as necessary.

Ideal qualities:

Car drivers in order for me to access the community.

Male workers would be advantageous due to some activities I require to access.

5.6 weeks holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro rata for part time positions). Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.
