ABOUT THE ROLE

Would you like to support a Coronation Street Super Fan

We are looking for a supportive, energetic, and compassionate person to join us in providing one-to-one support for a 33-year-old woman who has a learning disability, limited mobility and other support needs. You’ll also be providing support with, daily routines, mobility needs, as well as helping to manage her health conditions safely and sensitively and providing companionship.

This is a rewarding and varied role where you’ll make a real difference every day by helping her live a fulfilling, enjoyable, and safe life. She thrives on routine, structure, and familiar faces, so we’re looking for someone who can be consistent, reliable, and confident in following established care plans and boundaries.

At the same time, she has a wonderful, bubbly personality and loves music, singing, and performing — so this role would really suit someone who can bring enthusiasm, positivity, and creativity to her day. Whether it’s singing along to her favourite tunes, helping her enjoy sensory activities, or supporting her to attend local events, your energy and encouragement will be key.

If you’re someone who can balance kindness and fun with professionalism, and you’re passionate about helping others live their best life, we’d love to hear from you.

ABOUT ME
I’m a young woman with many lovely qualities, I love listening to music, colouring, going to the cinema, bowling and the hairdressers and beauty salon. I use Makaton as one form of communication, and you will be trained in this. I live in my own home with my Mum and Stepdad, and I want to enjoy life, and I need the right support to help me with this. I’m looking for a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support me and someone who I can build a positive relationship with. You will help me live as independently and fully as possible—whether that’s at home or out in the community. I need support with day-to-day living, preparing meals, and I need you to support me when I have behaviours of distress.
