I am an outgoing and active 25-year-old young lady living in my own home. I like to keep active, and I am always busy with various activities. I enjoy swimming, going to the gym, being outdoors and listening to live music. I am a member of a choir and attend sessions for this regularly. 

I am looking to recruit 2 Personal Assistants who can support me with day-to-day living, including supporting with all aspects of personal care, clinical tasks, mental and emotional wellbeing, and accessing the community. The ideal candidate will live locally to me, be patient, caring and flexible in order to support me during the day and night. You will need to be enthusiastic and be able to support me with my active lifestyle. You must also be able to develop a high level of professionalism, ensuring to promote my dignity, privacy, independence at all times, whilst respecting my home environment. 

I am happy to consider someone with no experience, perhaps someone looking for a total career change. What you need is enthusiasm and the ability to problem solve. The staff team are very supportive and you will have lots of training. 

You will be required to have a full clean UK driving licence and feel confident in supporting me to access my various activities. There is a 25 hour per week position and 17 hour per week position available, both will include a combination of day shifts and waking night shifts. There will also be a requirement to cover additional shifts on an ad-hoc basis, in order to cover for holidays and sickness. The hourly rate of pay is £13.50 for day hours, and £9.20 per hour for waking nights. 

An excellent training package is available to ensure you are trained to the highest standards. Working as part of the Solo Support Services organisation will also give you access to a supportive company who promote person centred practice. Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.
