ABOUT ME AND THE ROLE

WANT A JOB THAT’S A BIT DIFFERENT?

I’m a 30-year-old man looking for Personal Assistants to join me in Newark. I’m a full-time wheelchair user, and I’m looking for someone who can support me with everyday life — but this definitely isn’t a boring, sit-at-home kind of job!

I’m a big Manchester United fan, enjoy keeping busy and have a good sense of humour.

There’s also my cockapoo — so you’ll need to be happy around dogs!

ABOUT YOU AND THE ROLE

Previous care or PA experience is desirable, but not essential.

Full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is:

A sense of humour is important — we’ll laugh a lot!

Please note, a full UK driving licence is required. You must also have your own vehicle with enough space for my manual wheelchair.

Any offer of employment will be conditional pending receipt of satisfactory Right to Work Check.

DETAILS

£14.72 per hour, up to 32 hours per week

Mileage expenses: 45p per mile (up to 100 miles per week)

Flexible hours can be negotiated

Weekdays + some weekends

Waking overnight shifts once training is complete

Full training provided

All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Any offer of employment will be conditional pending receipt of satisfactory references and a Right to Work Check.
