I am a 2-year-old boy with complex health needs, living at home with my family. I am a socially energetic young boy who loves Singing Hands, Mr Tumble, playing with my siblings and going for walks with my family. I need support from others at all times to keep me safe. 

The ideal candidate will need to support me to meet my physical, social, emotional and developmental needs and help to attend my groups. I need to be supported by people who have good communication skills and can listen to me as I express my needs in subtle ways sometimes. You need to be flexible and be able to support me during the day and night, helping me to develop to reach my milestones even though I may take slightly longer to get to them. I need you to be calm, devoted and able to think on your feet.

Experience of working with children with complex health needs would be advantageous. Full training will be provided to meet my needs; however, it would be beneficial to have experience of Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) and Ventilation. 

The following positions are available:

2 x 44 hour positions 

1 x 24 hour position 

1 x 12 hour position

These positions will include a combination of day shifts and waking night shifts. There will also be a requirement to cover additional shifts on an ad-hoc basis, in order to provide cover for any holidays and sickness. The rate of pay is £11.47 per hour.

You will also be required to hold a full UK driving license.

An excellent training package is available to ensure you are trained to the highest standards. Working as part of the Solo Support Services organisation will also give you access to a supportive company who promote person centred practice.
