I am currently recruiting a Personal Assistants to support me in my own home with all aspects of daily living and to promote my independence to lead a good, quality life. I was diagnosed with Motor Neurone DiseaseI and I live at home with wife, daughter and my 4 small dogs.
I enjoy Formula 1, motor sports, football and rugby, watching a range a birds in my garden, fast cars and my collection of luxury model cars. I need support with my personal care, moving and handling, meal preparation and medication.
I am looking for kind, fun loving, honest, reliable, committed, enthusiastic people to join my care team. Ideally, I would like people who have the same interests as me to support me. I am able to make my own decisions and choices and want candidates to be able to support me to do this.
I am currently needing someone to support me for approximately 35 hours per week, with a range of shifts, 9am -12pm, 12pm -3pm 5pm-7pm and weekend work will also be included. The rate of pay is £10.30 per hour, depending on experience, with an increase after probation.
5.6 weeks holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro rata for part time positions). Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.
