Would you like to join my team? I am a little girl who lives with my mum and dad and I am looking for a small team of exceptional staff to support me so that my parents can take some time out. I have complex high health and care needs along with developmental delay which impacts how I see and communicate with the world around me.

Prior experience in Pediatrics Tracheostomy care and related medical procedures is essential, proficiency in using oxygen, ambu bag and operating life support equipment, competency in gastrostomy feeding and urine catheterization, knowledge of medication administration via gastrostomy, ability to respond effectively during seizures, strong observational skills to pick up on non-verbal cues and body language, safe moving and handling techniques, adaptability and willingness to provide support in all aspects of daily living.

My mum and Dad know me really well and they along with SOLO will support my staff to get to know me and learn my personality. I really want to work with people who we all get along with and who is adaptable to our needs as a family.

Could you be the person to support?

The ideal candidate will be highly experience in complex pediatric care, will be committed, reliable, flexible, have a positive and caring nature with a cheerful personality and excellent communication skills.

Part Time Position: Hours to be negotiated

Salary: £18.00 per hour: Paid training. Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.

Hours: I require evening and weekend cover as well as school hours.

Flexibility: Additional hours to cover holidays and sickness as required
