About the role:

I am a young man in my 30s living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I require support with my daily living needs to enable me to live as independently and comfortably as possible. I have an established team who know my routines well, and I am looking for someone who can step in when regular staff are unavailable.

Main Duties May Include:

  • Supporting with personal care
  • Assisting with daily routines and tasks
  • Helping with mobility and transfers
  • Supporting with meals and hydration
  • Supporting me with my ventilation needs
  • Assisting with social activities or outings when required
  • Working alongside and following guidance from my existing care team

I am looking for a reliable and compassionate bank support worker to provide occasional cover for sickness and annual leave within my established care team.

This role is offered on a flexible, as-needed basis as you will be working as part of a small friendly team.

A caring, reliable, and respectful individual Someone who is flexible and able to work at short notice where possible Good communication skills Ability to follow established care routines Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as training can be provided
