I am looking for someone to join a team of carers to assist my 13-year-old daughter in Watnall, five minutes walk away from the Hovis bakery.
She is totally dependent in all aspects of her life and uses a wheelchair. She likes hearing familiar stories and voices and listening to music. She also enjoys stimulation with her toys.
The role includes personal care, assistance with bathing and dressing and going out for walks. You will also be required to administer oxygen, manage the nebuliser and perform nasal and oral suction. Full training is provided.
The ideal candidate will be caring, reliable and dedicated, you will also be patient and trustworthy. It is essential that you have an understanding of complex care needs and have a full UK Driving licence. It is also essential that you have experience of peg feeding.
Applicants must be female due to the personal nature of the role (The employer has claimed an exemption under the Equality Act 2010).
The hours available are 3:30pm – 6:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at a rate of £10.00 per hour
There are also one night shift available per week 9.30pm – 7.30am (nights may vary) at a rate of £11.00 per hour Monday - Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday nights at the rate of £12.00 per hour.
