I am a 13- year old boy I live at home with my parents, 2 siblings and my dog. I attend a nearby school and have a large close family who are important to me. I am non-verbal and communicate through a range of non-verbal means, facial expression, natural gesture and eye contact. I wish to experience new things as well as maintain my skills with the right level of care and support from a dedicated team to enable me to attend school and enjoy my life with my family. I am looking for a Team Leader to support me and lead my team of PA’s as well as supporting me in my own home and also when I am out socially or attending activities with my family.


Hours: To be discussed at interview. Over time available covering holidays and sickness

The Role: Due to my condition I need support during the day and night as well as weekends and holidays. I have progressive complex health needs. My health needs require regular and consistent support to maintain my well-being. I am looking for an individual with strong communication skills. You will need to be able to work as part of a team, provide leadership and take direction from my parents, Client Relations Manager and other health professionals who are involved in my care.

I have an accessible vehicle which allows me to travel with both my family and Team Leader/Personal Assistants. The open policy of insurance also allows for 2 people to take me out on trips without my family. A full clean driving licence and willingness to drive my accessible vehicle is preferable.

Experience: Health experience as well as experience of working with children, sensory communication skills, leadership, supervisory experience, medication administration, record keeping, care planning and organisation of a team, moving and assisting and complex health needs direct support.

Training Full bespoke training will be provided to meet all my medical and social needs. Continuous Professional Development & Annual Training
