Third Party Arrangement

(Solo Support Services is the legal employer of your PAs)

You may have a Third-Party Arrangement because you do not want to take the responsibility of employing your own Personal Assistants (PAs) but you still want to retain some choice and control. We open a client account in your name to receive funding from your Health Authority or Local Authority or sometimes from both and we employ your PAs but you help make the decisions about who works for you and what they do.

We support with recruitment, training, other aspects of employment and anything else you may need to manage your budget effectively. We help you live the life you want and achieve the outcomes that are important to you. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and are a fully regulated service. This service is personalised to you and you pay a monthly management fee which will be worked out with you and the local Authority or Commissioning Group. There is also a set-up fee which will be paid by the Local Authority or CCG

The Monthly Management fee gives you the following:
  • A dedicated Client Relations Manager who is your one point of contact for all issues relating to your care and support
  • An individual client bank account
  • Monthly accounts accessible on-line using our accounting software
  • Full Financial Record Keeping
  • Payroll and calculation of holiday entitlement
  • Payslips accessible on line using our payroll software
  • Safeguarding support
  • Recruitment support with personalised job descriptions and terms and conditions of employment best suited to your situation and budget
  • Risk assessments
  • Coordination of training
  • Full support for all employee concerns or issues
  • Full support with reviews and appraisals
